ABC Studios Advisory Panel chat- Molly's parts
moderator: What do the writers have planned for Alexis and castleobserver wants to know how you feel about Alexis moving in a different direction and having some real conflict w/ her dad this season?
Molly: I am glad they are letting Alexis grow and make some mistakes. That keeps her from becoming static. And keeps me from getting type cast.
moderator: What's your favorite part of working on Castle?
Molly: I love working with Nathan on my comedy and game play.
moderator: If you could swap places with an actor on Castle and take on a character, which character would you pick and why?
Molly: I love Alexis and just look forward to her life in high school and college. All characters are being amped up and all relationships are being explored in interesting ways.
moderator: What are you looking forward to this season?
Molly: kicking tail
moderator: Will there be new storylines introduced in season 4?
Molly: All I can really say is the new police chief "Iron Gates" lives up to her name.i wanna see more Esposito and Lanie!
moderator: how much will we get to know about new captain Victoria Gates? Will her screen time be similar to that of Montgomery or will she be involved to a greater degree in the lives of the other characters?
Molly: A lot, she is tough and the real deal with agendas.
moderator: Molly, you were at Comic-Con this year. cham wants to know what you enjoyed most about Comic-Con. Also, so many people weren't able to get in to see you guys this year, are there plans for a bigger room next year?
Molly: Cosplay is a universe I could live in. If the fans want it and will show we will be there. ;)
moderator: On a typical shooting day how much time is spent in prep and how much is spent with cameras rolling?
Molly: I am having so much fun, I don't really notice, but I would say 1/3 prep and lighting and 2/3 camera rolling
moderator: Members, what themes or subcultures would you like to see in future episodes?
Molly: Zombies!!!!!! Alexis' friends, NASCAR
moderator: Should fans prepare to deal with a lot of angst in season 4 when it comes to the various relationships?
Molly: Yes. What are you talking about, it is Castle
moderator: To Molly - I watch Castle with my 10 and 5 year old daughters (maybe not the typical demographic) but they love you and Stana and look up to you guys as role models. Do you put thought into the younger girls who are looking up to you before you accept certain jobs outside of Castle or how to play Alexis as she is growing up? If so, how does it affect you?
Molly: I consider community in my personal life. My roles are chosen for diversity, not role model material. I am glad people get good things from Alexis.
moderator: What's your favorite moment was during Season 3 and who would you love to have guest star if you had one choice?
Molly: When Lainie and Esposito got together. Loved Lainies apartment. Christopher Walken
moderator: Molly, although the entire cast is phenomenal individually as well as an ensemble, I would have to think there is a certain joy to working so closely with stage veterans like Susan and Ruben.
moderator: What would be the best piece of advice or pearl of wisdom they have imparted to you??
Molly: There are no classes for actors that can beat working with them.

Do the cast members play pranks on the writers/directors when they're on set?
Molly: all the time. Working is just an excuse to pull pranks
Molly: Martha's heart is still on the mend but Martha is so hot!
Any guilty pleasures TV wise?
Molly: The Big Bang Theory, The office, Absolutely Fabulous, Antiques Road Show, Taken,
Cast for boyfriend?
Molly: Rupert Grint of course. We must preserve the ginger gene

I’ve never posted spoilers on this blog before but lately I really want to, especially the awesome new Alexis stuff. I just didn’t want to start posting spoilers without letting everyone know because I don’t want anyone who is trying to stay spoiler-free to get spoiled by me.
